If you know me you know that my style of teaching is approachable, inclusive and very hands on. The experience is immersive and you’ll have access to me the entire time to get feedback, guidance, instruction and a lot of fun.   • Unlock the secrets of effortless artistry. We'll explore practical exercises and mindset shifts that cultivate creative flow, enabling you to approach your art with ease and confidence. This newfound fluency will be your key to building captivating creations.

  • Guide the Eye: Create a smooth visual flow through your artwork, directing the viewer's gaze to key elements.

  • Overcoming perfectionism: We’ll embrace experimentation and learning from "mistakes" as stepping stones to growth.

Lodging & Transportation

For those who don’t live in the area and want to stay near each other, here are two hotels we recommend. However, there are hundreds of hotels and AirBnbs in the area so please stay wherever you feel comfortable. Rates will most likely be less expensive given the time of year.

Some people have enjoyed having a car available, however you do not need one. David Art Center is approximately 20 minutes from downtown New Orleans and many people opt to carpool after the first day, especially if everyone stays at the same hotel or near each other. And, of course, there's Uber and Lyft.
