There’s Something New on My Website…and I Think You’ll Love It

2/27/2026

For years I’ve received the same question over and over again:

“What exact supplies are you using?”

Not just the brand of paint.

Not just the size of the brush.

But the real details. The boards. The tape. The adhesives. The framing. The little things that make a difference.

So I finally did something about it.

I’ve created a dedicated Supplies page on my website where you can find the materials I use across my courses. You’ll see it right there in the navigation bar at the top.

Right now, I’ve organized it into sections for:

Turn Your Art Into Sales
Abstract Painting for Absolute Beginners
Jumpstart Your Abstract Art
And I’m currently building out a full list for Art with Adele Academy, which will be divided into two categories: Supplies and Framing.

My goal is simple.

When you’re working through one of my courses, you shouldn’t have to hunt around wondering what I used. You can just go to one place and see it all.

And there are links so that you can go right to Amazon to purchase what you want. No need to go searching.

But here’s the part that matters even more.

Materials are not just tools. They shape your process.

The surface you choose changes the way paint moves.

The kind of tape you use affects your edges.

A different adhesive can completely alter how your collage papers behave.

Even framing can elevate a small piece into something that feels substantial and professional.

Sometimes we get stuck creatively and we think the problem is “us.”

Often it isn’t.

Sometimes it’s the materials.

Trying a new substrate. Switching to a different brush. Using a different weight of paper. Even limiting yourself to just three colors. These shifts wake up your instincts. They force you to respond differently. And that response is where growth happens.

I’ve discovered so much in my own work simply because I experimented with a new surface or changed the way I applied something.

Many of the breakthroughs in my layered, weathered pieces came from curiosity about materials. What happens if I sand this? What happens if I glue this first? What happens if I build three layers instead of two?

You don’t need more supplies to be a better artist.

But you do need the right ones for what you’re trying to do.

And sometimes discovering a new material opens a door you didn’t even know was there.

That’s why I wanted to make this simple for you. One place. Easy to find. Always available.

Go explore the Supplies page right now and whenever you need it. Just click HERE.

And if you experiment with something new because of it, I’d love to hear what changes in your work.

Now let me push you a little.

Are you using the same materials you were using three years ago?

Have you added anything new to your process recently?

Or are you playing it safe?

What’s one material you’ve been curious about but haven’t tried yet?
